Farewell
With this issue we say farewell to Consulting Editor Khalisa Rae and Assistant Editor Sofia Fey.
Khalisa has been a backbone for KDP, guiding the team through tough choices during submission processes and providing insight on work that comes over the transom. She is now focusing her energy on her role as Assistant Editor over at Glass: A Journal of Poetry, a publication that is dear to us as well. And please check out Khalisa's newest publication Ghost in a Black Girl's Throat, which is available through Red Hen Press. Sofia is a past contributor here at KDP and joined us in the spring as part of our submissions team. They have been instrumental in the decision-making process and have offered critical commentary for featured writers. Sofia is making some career moves, and we wish them the best in following those dreams! Follow Sofia on their website and at Hooligan Magazine, where they serve as Poetry Editor. |
