L.A. Sklba
We are alive
Do you ever wonder if we have lessons to learn
about how we are cells floating together
tight enough to make us a whole,
that this is true of doors too
made solid by the bonding together,
still in motion yet held so tight.
If our cells and theirs happened to align just so
would the door not suddenly open,
not on a hinge, but how space makes room for space,
the passing of particles across time,
two solids suddenly mingle,
and move on.
