Michael Buebe
Odie
sad-jubilee / summer
reading — a kiosk
stocked with daydreams
it certainly is weird
to write for you / like this /
but the /
dog-eared pages — coffee
rings / we played
like naked sleepers
over each lyric
how these / dogs / birds
clouds / in separate purple
kisses pass in fluid
like spit —
my ear it
connects to
my heart
each
the other’s
lynchpin
