Today, I Ate Venus by Zebib K. A.
Today, I ate Venus.
And after, I let out a big belch
as I lay down to sleep.
Too much at once,
miles of fiery, extra-terrestrial terrain.
Eyes burning.
Twirled licks of involuted hot atmosphere
form a crown above my head.
A blue giant in my core.
God-brewed syllables,
sighed out like flying saucers.
I cannot sleep well,
as mechanics steam.
Eaten-
a whole vat of extra-godly fire.
These words might be vile;
hot smoke, churned celestial creation.
Signals in the smoke,
factories’ never-ending emissions.
Sounds heard in the upset of sleep,
from man-made crafts hurtling through space,
an interior vastness consuming planets.
Next, I ate Mars.
Today, I ate Venus.
And after, I let out a big belch
as I lay down to sleep.
Too much at once,
miles of fiery, extra-terrestrial terrain.
Eyes burning.
Twirled licks of involuted hot atmosphere
form a crown above my head.
A blue giant in my core.
God-brewed syllables,
sighed out like flying saucers.

Next, I ate Mars.
